About

I believe in therapy as a process for positive change and self-discovery. It is my goal to facilitate the process of positive change through forming a collaborative and empathic relationship unique to each client. In this relationship, I work in tandem with clients to both understand and overcome life’s obstacles. I find that developing a greater sense of awareness leads to an increased sense of agency and acceptance. I offer support with managing overwhelming emotions, developing healthier narratives, and building insight into unresolved experiences. My hope is that each client feels empowered to live a meaningful and authentic life.

My clinical approach to therapy is integrated and trauma informed. Psychodynamic theories, neuroscience, and dialectical behavioral therapy inform my work in session. I enter the therapeutic alliance with authenticity and an open mind. I value social justice and the diverse experiences that each person brings into the therapeutic endeavor. Therapy should be a safe and welcoming space for exploration and introspection.

Each person is deserving of quality therapy services, and I strive to provide quality care in every interaction. Whether you are excited or nervous to begin therapy, I respect and honor your decision to begin this journey.
