About

I am now doing the work I have always wanted to do. I have reentered the workforce to be a counselor to help you during a difficult period in your life. This is achieved by providing a period of supportive and empathic psychotherapy to share things you may otherwise not be comfortable disclosing. It will provide a physical and emotional space where you are listened to carefully, seen, and heard in a safe, confidential, non-judgmental way. Together we will begin to construct your unique history and story to better understand your current situation. This understanding can help to relieve mental pain, anxiety, and depression.

Psychotherapy can also be a place to achieve new perspectives through sensitive, thoughtful conversation of your mental conflicts which are causing suffering. In this way you will have a chance to review, reflect upon, and begin to resolve feelings that may be new or have haunted you for a long time.

My life’s experiences have given me a perspective on all types of relationships and challenges. I have learned how to negotiate conflicting obligations, change of careers, transitional periods when personal goals or ambitions shift, and handling grief.

I offer emerging adult and adult short term focused psychotherapy, long term psychotherapy, and supportive psychotherapy. If my approach resonates with you, please reach out to schedule an appointment or a consultation.
