About

Many of us go through life unaware of the causes of our uncomfortable emotions or harmful behaviors. These unexplainable emotions and actions may contribute to relationship issues, other disruptions in life, and even anxiety or despair. Counselors are specially trained to listen and comprehend in ways that support deepening clients’ self-awareness. Through therapy, clients can learn helpful tools to make sense of emotions and behaviors that get in the way of thriving in life. I truly believe that we can start to see things differently and with greater accuracy once we have a deeper understanding of ourselves.

Helping you become a better you is what I strive to do. As a person of faith, I firmly believe in incorporating one’s faith with treatment, but only when the patient expresses a desire to do so, in order to aid in a more thorough healing process. I am an ordained minister and believe in holistic healing by offering psychotherapy from a faith-based approach. I’ve been in ministry for 8 ½ years and passionate about integrating all aspects of life (mental, physical, relational, and spiritual) in helping others reach their full potential. By meeting the client where they are and accompanying them on their journey towards healing, I provide a secure, comfortable setting that offers an opportunity for healing.

I am passionate about working with clients who are facing depression, anxiety, family and interpersonal issues, grief and loss, trauma, self-image issues, abuse (spiritual, mental, physical, sexual, emotional), spiritual development, and life transitions. I use a multidimensional approach to therapy and place a strong emphasis on tailoring care to meet your specific needs in order to uncover and comprehend your reality.

If you would like to seek positive change and personal well-being, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me so that we can work through the obstacles that you may be facing. I am eager to meet with you!
