About
My therapeutic approach begins with developing a trusting and collaborative relationship and is rooted in the principles of harm reduction, autonomy, and interdependence. It acknowledges the effects of social inequity, generational trauma, and each individual’s unique experience.
Together, we will explore the stories and patterns that you have collected over the years as well as your present-day struggles. Through free association and dialogue, we will examine the unconscious thoughts and motivations of the patterns and behaviors which no longer serve you, allowing you space to heal and evolve.
I am honored to work with individuals from all walks of life. However, with a background in working with survivors of domestic violence, I believe I am particularly well-suited to work with adults who have suffered childhood or intimate partner abuse, as well as those who have identified harmful patterns in their own ways of relating to loved ones.
