About
We’re all trying to “do life” the best we can with what we have. But we’re not always equipped to know what “best” is, or what we “have.” Sometimes what we have isn’t originally ours either. The strategies and patterns we lean on have been developed and given to us by our caretakers and environments from an early age. We often keep repeating those strategies and patterns, even when they don’t serve us anymore. How those play out will differ, we all have unique challenges and strengths based on our stories up until now. What we don’t always have is space to intentionally unpack our stories, take a deeper look at our lives, and ask ourselves what integration, healing, and change can look like.
I will accompany you as you connect to yourself and the people in your life by making space for exploring your emotions and improving communication as you move towards a sense of well-being. Together we will work to find and discard unneeded strategies and patterns of behavior and discover the strengths and tools you need and want. I am committed to providing a safe place, whoever you are, wherever you are in life, whatever the story you bring. I believe we can work together towards building that fuller life, doing the best you can with what you have – on your terms.
While my work is primarily psychodynamic, I am open to the unique needs of every person. I am passionate about engaging with you in your life as you explore identity formation, growth, and integration at life’s crossroads and intersections.
