About
Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy are talk treatments premised on the notion of the unconscious, an out of awareness part of our minds, which influences greatly our behavior and experiences. By working with this notion, it is possible to access deeper levels of conflicts and tensions that are at the heart of our symptoms and suffering. The work with the unconscious allows long lasting changes for its own nature.
My work with you will aim giving voice to your singularity, looking for ways of expression and relief of suffering that are both creative and singular. It will also aim to opening possibilities of communication with the surroundings, as opposed to fitting into a prêt-à-porter subjective presentation.
In over ten years working with diverse groups of people, from different cultures and social backgrounds, I feel like my work in the US is an amplification and extension of my work in Brazil, my home country, where my journey started, leading to so many good encounters and learning experiences. I would love to be part of your journey and have yours being part of mine.
