About

I welcome all parts of you— fully and completely. My therapeutic aim is to help you understand yourself more deeply, and to develop genuine compassion for your unique human expression. In holding space for you, I hope to provide a safe environment in which you can come to understand the many dimensions of you. Sometimes, we have parts of our selves which we learn to disavow or ignore due to early relationships. Other times, difficult-to-meet standards built-into our environment or social structures encourage us to fit ourselves into boxes that don’t account for our many nuanced dimensions.

I will hold all parts of you tenderly, empathetically, and with care. I am guided by compassion and curiosity, and the belief is that we all want to be seen and known. Together, I’ll help you to honor, clarify, and map-out your vast mental and emotional landscape. I’ll also help you orient toward the values that are most important to you. My ultimate therapeutic aim is to walk with you, alongside you, as you discover the parts of yourself that ring most true and clear. Through an attentive therapeutic relationship, you’ll come to deepen self-awareness and orient towards choices that are fulfilling and meaningful to you.

I work from a deeply relational lens that honors the therapeutic alliance and focuses on emotional attunement. I understand the many ways that early attachment patterns influence our present circumstances. I believe in the healing capacity of storytelling, and listen intently to the narratives you tell about yourself. I take at face-value your descriptions of your inner world, and believe you are your own best guide and advocate.
