About

Utilizing a multicultural lens, I work empathically and collaboratively to explore what unique identities and stories are interwoven in each person. I incorporate mindfulness and holistic principles into therapy with an approach that is integrative, psychodynamic, empowering, and client-centered.

Over time, with trust in the therapeutic alliance and process, we will work to understand how your past shows up today and develop deeper awareness, healing, and resiliency.

Prior to entering the field, I worked as a holistic health practitioner, a classroom teacher, and nonprofit director. It’s my belief that psychotherapy is/can be a powerful personal asset and an insight-bearing ally.

During my graduate studies, I completed advanced family therapy training in gender-diverse approaches to transgender-affirmative care. I strive to offer a safe, ethical, and informed space for gender and sexuality identity questioning and transitioning. I’ve also completed advanced training in sexual assault counseling, domestic violence social psychology, and psychosomatic studies.

I am passionate about exploring elements of spirituality and faith, the role of creativity, music, and art, and considering how culture and society influences impact our experiences, beliefs, and behaviors.
