About
At some point in every person’s life they begin to examine their emotions and behaviors and want to gain a deeper understanding of who they are, and why they are the way they are. My goal is to provide my client with a safe space to explore the difficult question, “why?” and help them gain self-awareness, and make meaning of their life experiences. I provide insight oriented psychotherapy that is based on a strong therapeutic relationship.
This unique process allows for healing and change to occur by exploring earlier stages of emotional development that manifest now as anxiety, depression, and repeated trauma experiences. These obstacles can make it difficult for a person to have or maintain fulfilling relationships and exist freely in the world.
It is my hope that this empathic and supportive space will provide what my client needs to grow, and this evolution will be reflected outside of the therapy room. It is my belief that therapy is the journey of the client, and it is my privilege to walk it with them. “It is not what you look at that matters. It is what you see.” ~ Henry David Thoreau
