About

We all harbor unique social and individual pasts and unique personality constellations which make us responsive to different modes of healing. Holding space for your unique experience and the relationship that we create is paramount in my work. I take an integrative, holistic approach focused on deep and meaningful change in addition to symptom reduction.

I have two decades of experience in working with PTSD, attachment trauma, and dual diagnosis in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings in Houston, TX and Pittsburgh, PA. I specialized in treating co-occurring disorders at the Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX, where I also supervised clinical interns and fellows and served as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston’s Graduate School of Social Work. I am bilingual in Spanish and enjoy working with people who are feeling stuck or alienated.

I am sensitive to the benefits of intensive exploratory work and offer psychoanalysis as a treatment modality. I am also aware that one’s suffering may take on different forms and levels of urgency which may call for different approaches. I offer somatic, cognitive and mindfulness-based treatment approaches such as EMDR, ERP, ACT and trauma-informed yoga. I hold a certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research from the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research (CPTR) California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) and offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy as part of my practice. Together, we will collaborate to form a unique healing journey to suit your needs.
