About
Starting or returning to therapy can be very hard, and I have great respect for anyone who is willing to look at themselves more deeply. I welcome adults of all ages and experiences to my practice, and I most often work with people who are suffering from feelings of depression, anxiety, loneliness, or hopelessness. I have particular experience working with those who have trouble forming/sustaining friendships or romantic relationships, those who feel deeply inadequate, and those enduring major life changes such as breakups, conflicts with family/friends, changes in one’s professional life, the birth of a child, and more.
I believe the relationship between a patient and therapist is critical to healing and change. I offer a supportive, accepting environment in which we will simply talk about whatever is most important to you. Together, we will work to better understand why you feel the way you do, and explore where those feelings come from.
I find that when we understand our feelings, their histories, and their functions, it becomes easier to form new perspectives. These new perspectives empower us to move forward and help us become the person we want to be. I very much look forward to meeting you, and I invite you to contact me via email, phone, or the scheduling portal herein.
