About
Getting to know my clients with warmth and care is important to me. I believe the experience of therapy can look differently for each person, and it is a must that clients feel safe, understood and supported. Our stories deserve to be honored and come to surface at their own pace.
The environment we can create can allow you to understand yourself, your relationships, what’s happened in your life (maybe still is happening) and has affected you, what you need today, and your relationships with boundaries. From there, our partnership can enable you to respond to your circumstances as you understand them. We can stay where you need to be and move at your own pace. I would be honored to accompany you in your journey of healing and growth.
I graduated from Northwestern University with an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I was part of Perfectly Imperfect Lab, a research group exploring perfectionism and its applications in psychotherapy. I have practiced individual and group therapy, in community mental health and private practices, working with experiences of relationship trauma, perfectionism, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and identity. Before transitioning into my current career, I held various roles in corporate environments.
I am queer and a first-generation, Armenian immigrant from Turkey. I am familiar with somatic and spiritual experiencing, and value practicing from an intersectional, embodied, culturally sensitive lens.
